About Old City Walk

Born in the alleys we guide — a Jerusalem company built on patience, scholarship, and respect.

Our Beginning

Old City Walk started in 2014 when three Jerusalem-born friends — a historian, an archaeologist, and a licensed tour guide — agreed that the Old City deserved better than rushed, oversized groups.

We designed walks that mirror how locals move: early mornings before the heat, sunset hours when the light turns the limestone to honey, and never more than eight people so every question gets an answer.

Today we employ six full-time guides and welcome roughly 2,500 walkers each year from over forty countries. We remain independently owned and refuse commission arrangements with shops or restaurants.

What Sets Us Apart

Small by Design

Eight guests maximum on daily routes, six on deep-dives. No megaphones, no flag-on-a-stick. Just conversation on ancient stone.

Licensed & Insured

Every guide holds a Ministry of Tourism license, carries full liability insurance, and maintains current first-aid certification.

Faith-Neutral

We present history, architecture, and living traditions without advocacy. All faiths and backgrounds are welcome on our walks.
